i used to go all night........

i can remember when i could stay up all night and be perfectly functional in the morning.

not only have i lost the ability to do that, but if i'm up much after midnight two or three nights in a row, i wake up feeling like something the cat hacked up.

this doesn't mean i'm getting old, does it? crap.

i used to go out clubbing .. stay out til 2:00 .. drive an hour home ... got up for work at the law firm and started at 8:00 .. worked til 5 .. went home and did it all over again ... about 6 nights a week for 2 years.

now .. if i stay out past midnight .. it takes me 2 days to recover.

getting old ain't for sissies ....

and it sucks

me and my friends would dress in our matching nightclubbing wear pajamas. drive around town, hang around the bar, point at chicks and yell "you? me? you and me? him?"

after we've done that for several hours, we would finally get a chick on the dance floor bump her back and forth like a pinball machine, get kicked out, do the same thing over and over and over again.

that "what is love" song kept playing all the fucking time.....

that's why i started growing a beard and taking up the cowbell...
