crap- where's my earring?

back, by popular demand, the adventures of the radio station's doll that no one but me plays with:

when we last saw our heroine, she was walking into the sunset (well, as close to sunset as one sees in the mid-afternoon) with bodhi the gnomad, following her spot-on tawny kitaen imitation.

however, she's unprepared for this week's intended video re-enactment (devo's "whip it"), so instead, we find her catching up on her blogs.

"what's this? someone wants to see more pictures of me? well, you don't have to ask me twice!"

"wait a minute! something's missing....my earring! crap- i'm always losing an earring- maybe because there are no backs to my ears so these big ol' hoochie-earrings are just stuck in my head."

"hey, pancho- have you seen my earring?"

"hmm...maybe i left it in here the last time i powdered my nose."

"doesn't look like my earring fell down the drain."
"does anyone else feel a draft in here?"

"bodhi, what are you doing with my earring? you don't have any holes in your head."

****************

not entertaining enough for you? we'll, then check out these offerings i borrowed from jo:

You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish

You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch.
Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes.
You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them.
You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be.

You Passed the US Citizenship Test

Congratulations - you got 9 out of 10 correct!

that'll give you something to entertain yourself with while i dig through statcounter's facts and figures in search of your oddest queries for tomorrow evening's post.......

I borrowed these things from somebody else, although now I can't remember who:) Wow Duff, you sure did a lot better than me on the Citizenship test, although that should be expected since you ARE a citizen, aren't you??? :):):)

9 out of 10 for me! pretty impressive being that some high school and college students can't locate their own state on a map! hell, by today's decreasing standards, i must be a flippin genious!

err....jamwall? "genious"?

jo: i doubt i'd do too terribly well on a canadian citizenship test....though i know what poutine is, and that should count for something.

Duff, I am loving the doll adventures! (And you've seen the video of those kids renacting "Whip It" for their talent show, right?) Especially since Recondo seems to have gone M.I.A. The gratuitous butt photo made me laugh out loud.

Oh, and Pancho? Nice. He should be in more of the adventures. Heh.

And I'm SO not sharing my quiz scores. It's embarrassing. If anyone needs me, I'll be at home reading my old history book...

Mmmm....Poutine....how I miss thee.....

And I doubt that I would do very well on the Canadian Citizenship Test either....

Sigh.

phats: i have a history degree- i'm sure the answer i missed was revealed during a nap in class in college.

lbseahag: will she wet herself? (sorry- that was a cheap shot, wasn't it?)

wrigley1: i was full-time briefly about four years ago. since then, i've been trying to climb back up the ladder.

i'll get there eventually, dammit.

just thinking: it helped that my goverment teacher in high school was attractive- i paid very close attention in class.

dirty gypsy: somehow i missed the talent show reenactment. (then again, i do lead a fairly sheltered life.)

armaedes: perhaps dirty gypsy will let you read over her shoulder.

jo: poutine does sound good right now. you up for a road trip?

bricotrout: funny you should mention that- i spent most of my day stripping. look for it as this week's hnt over on random photos.

I am definitely up for a roadtrip! Is Illinois on the way to Canada from where you are??:):)
As you can see, I know my US geography about as well as I know the random facts about the country:)

i've seen wrigley1's cowbell avatar just yesterday on Ibseahag's site.

i remember doing a double-take and saying to myself "i don't remember writing that...."

jo: i can take the long way. besides, i've never been to ontario.

jamwall: nothing like a little identity crisis to add excitement to the day.
