"sorry i'm late- i was busy getting fired"

ten things i can do with my newfound free time

1. work on that best-selling autobiography i haven't had time to write yet.
2. travel the world with a rich sugar daddy (know any good ones? mine's broke.)
3. learn how to repair my broken swatches
4. finally clean my bedroom- rearrange books in alphabetical order
5. become "queen of the treadmill".....while listening my way through my cd collection- from ace of base through rob zombie.
6. catch up on bricotrout's lists of ten.
7. become a tennis pro- after digging the racquet out of the closet and practicing a hell of a lot, of course
8. perfect underwater basketweaving technique
9. watch my entire dvd collection- starting with "office space"- twice.
10. play in the elmo sprinkler- and not have to share it

Thought you wrote "perfect underwear basketweaving", thought we were in for a treat...

So, you'd finally smack one of the little terrors?

Well, our condolences. At least you'll get to sleep in.

And dedicate yourself to one of your forty other jobs... (and blog 24/7!)

Boy, you sure know how to sneak in bad news, don't you? :)

Aw crap, dude!

Will we get the story about this???

And Office Space is a good DVD to watch. In Good Company is another one. If you don't own it, rent it or well, borrow it. I've found scenes in that movie hitting very close to home... or should I say the office!

Sorry bout your situation.

I don't know if I should write that I'm sorry for you... You don't seem very diswraught about it. So, uh, I hope everything works out?

kal: yep- i'm down to three jobs....i believe i'll be switching to full time at one of them monday.

everyone else: thanks for the thoughts, gang.

while it's the principle of the thing that gets me (i'd rather be fired for something i actually did), i'll be just fine.

You should definitely make up the most disparaging, outrageous, and libeleous story you can about the place and post it. That's always fun.

kal: since i still haven't brought home all my stuff (and i'm still leaving out avon books there), i won't say anything too disparaging about my former employer.

you'll have to wait for the book.

jurgen nation: no need to worry- i'll be just fine.

rabbit: that's a great f*cking idea. ;~)

raven: you didn't miss anything. i haven't decided how much i'll be discussing on here- or when.....but it'll be in that best-selling autobiography....and probably my christmas letter, as well.

I *still* think this all happened because of your idea to teach the kids the lyrics to Hanson's Um-bop... I *said* there were child abuse laws. :)
