kal tagged me again. that'll teach me to be antisocial. (please note: i am lazy. therefore, i will cut and paste and not convert everything to lowercase. i'll be back to my usual stubborn self tomorrow....or maybe the next day.)

1. Name as it appears on birth certificate: imagine that, i seem to have misplaced my birth certificate. (actually, i seriously have no idea where my copy of it may be.)
2. Nicknames: duff, shorty, jul
3. Place of Birth: fort collins, colorado (poudre valley memorial hospital, or something like that.)4. Favorite food: crabs, tacos, lobster rolls
5. Ever been to Africa: unless you count the "africa" section at riverbanks zoo...no.
6. Love someone so much it hurts: so much it hurts? i mean, i've loved a few folks an awful lot, but the only time it hurts is after i've loved eating food a little too much. oh- like loved them so much it hurts to say goodbye? yes.
7. Been in a car accident: little fender adjustments, yes. huge multi-car pileups? no. and i'd like to keep it that way.
8. Croutons or bacon bits: why can't i have both?
9. Favorite day of the week: saturday....because i have a weekend of radio ahead of me.

Favorite restaurant: favorite anywhere? hmmm....favorite sit-down place is the armadillo (in fort collins, colorado), or else grengada's in laurel, maryland....or maybe sabatino's, in the "little italy" section of baltimore. favorite takeout would be taco john's which is all over the place west of the mississippi......or the pit barbecue place we used to go to when we lived in baltimore. as for local places- my favorite sit-down place in town is el chico, and my favorite take-out is probably subway.

16. What Color is your bedroom carpet: rental beige...but i want purple shag like kal's
17. How many times did you fail your driver's test: twice. parking on a hill and parallel parking did me in. the third time, i took it with an automatic- one of the very few times i've driven one.
18. Before this one, from whom did you get your last e-mail: but this wasn't an email- it was a blog tag. however, my last email was an avon order.
19. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card: hmmm....i have a pretty decent credit limit- i don't think i could max it out at any one place- unless i was planning a bunch of trips on travelocity or something.
20. What do you do most often when you are bored: sleep, catch up on birthday cards
21. What time is Bedtime: about ten minutes after i get home.
22. Favorite TV shows: law & order, the evening news (the news is generally all i manage to catch.), the a team
23. Last person/s you went to dinner with: uh...like out in a restaurant? sitting down? jeez....it's been so long.....
24. Ford or Chevy: i'm not a fan of gm products. so far, i've owned a plymouth and a ford. that should be it for awhile.
25. What are you listening to right now: country music....well, for the record, i'm not listening to it- i just happen to be babysitting the country station right now

29. Have you ever run out of gas: once- but not in my current car, though i came really close last week.

why does this thing stop at 29? is 30 really that scary?
